SUNSET SNORKELING TOUR
At sunset time, Malta reveals a colourful side painting the sky with pink, red, purple and yellow palette . After a basic introduction on the equipment and the safety rules; just before the sunset you will walk into the crystal clear waters of DiveBase House reef and you will be guided in search of the typical Mediterranean marine life, octupus, starfish and other fascinating creatures coming out their homes looking for food. Easy & relaxing way to end a perfect day on the Island.

SNORKELING TOUR at St.Paul’s Islands
Located right in front of DiveBase dive center, St.Paul’s Island is traditionally known as the location where Pa A.D. With no inhabitants the islands remained a pilgrimage site and a marine treasure chest.
Before leaving the dive center with a private boat, DiveBase instructor will give a brief introductions about the snorkeling equipment and safety rules to follow when snorkeling at sea.

SNORKELING TOUR at Comino
Malta in summer time reveals all its colours and its natural beauty. When the sun is high up in the sky we’ll embark in our dinghy & off to the crystal clear waters of the idyllic northern coast line and famous Blue Lagoon in Comino. We’ll look for curious octopus, Mediterranean marine life, starfish and other fascinating creatures swimming around the selected site.
Before going into the water the instructor is going to give a brief introductions about the snorkeling equipment, rules and safety measure to follow when snorkeling at sea.
Fresh water and a Traditional Maltese snack is offered.

The charter includes a comfortable shaded boat, full snorkeling equipment for all guests, a cool box with chilled water, and a flexible timetable. We can combine snorkeling with sightseeing, cliff jumping, or a leisurely picnic at a secluded spot. The boat holds a small group only, ensuring personal attention and plenty of space to relax. Transfers from your accommodation can be arranged on request. Minimum 4 persons, maximum 8. Advance booking essential.

NIGHT SNORKELING ADVENTURE
DISCOVER A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT UNDERWATER WORLD AFTER DARK. Once the sun goes down, the reef transforms — nocturnal creatures emerge, colours change under the beam of your torch, and the water feels even more magical. Our guided night snorkeling session is an unforgettable experience for confident snorkelers looking for something out of the ordinary.
You will be fully briefed on night navigation, torch signals, and buddy procedures before entering the calm, shallow waters of our house reef. Equipped with high‑powered underwater lights and reflective markers on your snorkel vest, you will explore ledges and seagrass beds where octopus, cuttlefish, moray eels, and sleeping parrotfish can be spotted. The sensation of weightlessness in the dark, with only the pool of light ahead, is truly mesmerizing.
This activity is not suitable for complete beginners — you must be comfortable in the water and have previous snorkeling experience. Wetsuit, flotation device, mask, snorkel, flippers, and dive torch are provided. A hot drink awaits you on shore after the session. Join us on special dates throughout summer; private group sessions can also be arranged.
SNORKEL AND PHOTO WORKSHOP
CAPTURE YOUR UNDERWATER MEMORIES WITH CONFIDENCE. Many snorkelers struggle to get clear, colourful shots — our half‑day workshop, led by a professional underwater photographer, will teach you the essential techniques. You will learn how to use your own waterproof camera or GoPro, or you can borrow one of ours for the session.
The workshop starts with a brief classroom‑style talk covering composition, lighting, white balance, and how to approach marine life without causing stress. Then we head into the water at a sheltered bay where you will practise shooting macro subjects like anemones and blennies, as well as wide‑angle scenes with your buddy. Back on land, we review images on a large screen and give individual tips. You will leave with a memory card full of vibrant photos and the skills to keep improving.
Suitable for all levels, but basic snorkeling ability is required. The group size is kept very small (max. 4 participants) to ensure plenty of one‑on‑one coaching. Snorkeling equipment and camera can be provided; if you bring your own device, please make sure the housing is rated for the depth and that the battery is fully charged.
JUNIOR SNORKELER POOL & SEA EXPERIENCE
INTRODUCE THE YOUNGEST MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY TO THE JOYS OF SNORKELING IN A SAFE, FUN ENVIRONMENT. Our junior programme, designed for children aged 6 to 10, begins with a session in a calm, waist‑deep swimming pool where they get used to breathing through a snorkel, clearing the mask, and moving with flippers — all while playing games and collecting rings from the bottom.
Once the child feels confident, we continue to a shallow, sandy beach entry where they can explore rock pools and look for tiny fish under close supervision. Our instructors are trained in child‑friendly teaching methods and hold first‑aid qualifications. The ratio is never more than 3 children per instructor, so every child gets constant attention. Parents are welcome to join in the water or watch from the shore.
The full experience takes about 2 hours and includes all equipment in children’s sizes. A certificate of completion and a small souvenir make it a highlight of the holiday. We offer this activity on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from late spring to early autumn. Private family sessions can be booked any day on request.
